Why move
WordPress vs Shopify
Scope
What moves from WordPress
WooCommerce store
- Simple and variable products
- Attributes → options and metafields
- Product categories → collections
- Images and galleries
- Stock levels and SKUs
Customers & orders
- Customer accounts and addresses
- Order history and statuses
- Coupons rebuilt as Shopify discounts
- Reviews (via a review app)
- Subscriptions (planned per app)
WordPress content
- Blog posts with authors and tags
- Pages such as About, FAQ and policies
- Featured images
- Yoast / Rank Math titles and descriptions
- Every URL redirected with 301s

Redirect mapping
Your SEO, protected
WordPress and Shopify structure URLs differently — /product/name/ becomes /products/name, /category/ becomes /collections/ and posts move to /blogs/news/. We map every one and import the redirects before launch.
- /product/… → /products/…
- /product-category/… → /collections/…
- /blog-post/ → /blogs/news/…
- /page/ → /pages/…
- Meta titles and descriptions carried over

WordPress to Shopify, smooth and stress-free
I couldn’t be happier with the migration service! Moving my website from WordPress to Shopify felt overwhelming at first, but StoreFix.co made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. He handled everything — products, customers, orders, design elements, SEO settings, redirects, and custom features — with absolute professionalism and attention to detail.
If I could give 6 stars, I would!
If I could give 6 stars, I would! The service was exceptional and unbelievably quick. They understood exactly what I needed and set to it straightaway. Before I knew it, everything was fixed. Just brilliant. Will be back when I next need something, which I definitely will, and I wouldn't consider anywhere else. Many thanks once again.
Honest guidance and a custom theme within budget
I’m really glad I chose StoreFix.co to migrate my Shopify store. They were helpful, professional, and easy to work with from the beginning. Communication was excellent throughout, with quick replies and clear answers whenever I had questions or requested changes.
What impressed me most was that they didn’t simply build the store, they offered genuine guidance and helped me make the right decisions for my brand. They developed a custom theme that matched my vision while staying within my budget, without ever pressuring me into spending more.
The entire process was smooth and stress-free, and the finished store is exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend StoreFix.co to anyone looking for a reliable and experienced team to migrate their Shopify store. Excellent service from start to finish!
Will my WordPress blog move too?
Yes. Posts, featured images, tags and SEO fields move to the Shopify blog, and old post URLs redirect to their new addresses.
Can I keep my domain and email?
Yes. We point the domain to Shopify and leave your email records untouched.
What happens to my plugins?
We list your plugins and match each one to a Shopify feature or app. Many plugins are no longer needed on Shopify.
Can WooCommerce customer passwords move?
Passwords can’t be transferred for security reasons. Customers keep their order history and activate their Shopify account with one click from an invite email.
How long does it take?
Most WooCommerce migrations launch in two to three weeks, depending on catalog size and design changes.
